The Nature Exchange at Science North opened with the rest of the science center in June, 1984. It is a hugely popular part of the facility. It currently has over 28,000 traders in the database!

The new Lacarte family Children Zoo at the Dallas Zoo opened in spring of 2000 featuring a new Nature Exchange.
